Traci La Valle is senior vice president of quality and health improvement for the Maryland Hospital Association. In this role, Traci provides leadership, strategic direction, and management in the development, articulation, and advocacy of association positions related to quality, care transformation, population health, and health equity.
In her nearly 20 years at MHA, Traci has held progressively responsible roles covering a range of policies that affect Maryland’s hospitals’ finances, most recently focusing on quality and population-based payment policies.
Traci has a Master of Public Health and a certificate in health finance and management from The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Temple University.
