Caring Amid Crisis
This week communities along the southeast continue to recover from the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
Along with the tragic loss of life, there has been immeasurable impacts on communities, and our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones. Beyond this, the damage to homes, infrastructure, and the fabric of daily life has left countless families and individuals facing unimaginable hardship.
We in the health care community know all too well how disasters like this one can impact the well-being of entire communities for years to come. And we’ve seen how hospitals and health systems are on the front lines of this tragedy, providing care and comfort to those in need, even as they work to support their own employees and their families.
All of us in these times of crisis think first about how we can help. If you’d like to support the hospitals and health care workers affected by the hurricane, below are some opportunities to help.
North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund
