State-Level Advocacy
MHAPAC is MHA’s state-level political action committee (PAC), dedicated to supporting candidates who understand the critical role hospitals have in their communities. With support from members and partners, MHAPAC works to ensure a legislative and regulatory environment that allows hospitals to succeed in their mission of delivering exceptional patient care.
Federal Health Care Policy
At the federal level, MHA partners with the American Hospital Association Political Action Committee to ensure Maryland hospitals are represented in national policy discussions. AHAPAC is a bipartisan PAC that allows eligible hospital leaders to contribute to federal candidates who support policies benefiting hospitals and health systems.
AHAPAC works in partnership with state hospital associations, including MHA, to advance legislative priorities that affect hospitals nationwide.
