Who Can Contribute
Any individual may contribute to the MHAPAC. Hospital and health care leaders who have policymaking, managerial, professional supervisory, or administrative non-clerical responsibilities are encouraged to contribute to MHAPAC. Board trustees, partners, and volunteers may also contribute. Contributions are limited to $6,000 within an election cycle, per Maryland Campaign Laws.
Ways to Give
There are two ways to donate to MHAPAC.

Suggested Giving Levels
- MHAPAC Platinum Club (This level of giving confers with AHAPAC’s Ben Franklin Club) $1,500
- MHAPAC Gold Club & AHA Ben Franklin Club $1,000
- MHAPAC Silver Club & AHA Chairman’s Circle $500
- MHAPAC Bronze Club & AHA Capitol Club $350
- Friend of MHAPAC $250
MHAPAC Contribution Form
*Contributions to MHAPAC are not deductible for federal tax purposes. Only U.S. citizens and people with valid green cards can contribute. Contributions will be used for political purposes and are entirely voluntary. Contributors have the right to refuse to contribute without reprisal. Federal law requires the PAC to use best efforts to obtain the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer name of each contributor. Under Maryland state law, the limit on contributions by an individual or business entity to MHAPAC is $6,000 per four-year election cycle. A portion of qualified MHAPAC contributions are transferred to the American Hospital Association Political Action Committee (AHAPAC) to support Maryland’s congressional delegation.
