Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC)
About the HSCRC
The Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC) is an independent state agency that has broad responsibility regarding the public disclosure of hospital data and operation performance. The Commission is authorized to establish hospital rates that promote cost containment, access to care, equity, financial stability, and hospital accountability. MHA works closely to build consensus on issues affecting Maryland hospitals to ensure their voices are heard.
MHA publishes Newsbreak for members as a synopsis of each month’s Health Services Cost Review Commission meeting.
These resources are from the past year, including meeting materials, and financial reports. For access to additional materials, contact mha@mhaonline.org.
