2026 Hospital Bond Program

The Hospital Bond Program provides an opportunity to apply for state-allocated funding to complete private capital projects. The 2026 Hospital Bond Program applications open May 20, 2025.

Through the program, 35 million dollars in grants have been awarded over the last five years.

Important 2025 Dates

July 11: Applications Due to MHA. View Application Documents here.

Mid-August: Virtual Presentations; Review Committee review.

Late-August: Applicants notified of Review Committee’s decisions; Letter sent to the Governor with funding recommendations.

January-April 2026: MHA advocates for funding during Maryland Legislative Session

June 1, 2026: Funds become available
