MHA Unveils Healthy Hospitals. Healthy Communities. Display
Thanks to those of you who made it to MHA’s offices in Elkridge for our open house. This was a wonderful opportunity to connect with each other and to learn more about how the Association is working for you and your hospitals. We were pleased to host about 100 members and seven legislators who showed their support for Maryland hospitals.
We truly enjoyed catching up with so many of you!
If you weren’t able to make it, there will be another opportunity to join your colleagues and MHA. We’re asking all members to save the dates of June 9-10, 2025 for our Annual Meeting in Baltimore.
At the open house, we proudly unveiled the centerpiece of the Healthy Hospitals. Healthy Communities. campaign—a striking 20-foot-by-10-foot exhibit showcasing the remarkable impact Maryland hospitals have across the state.
The display features four panels highlighting the extensive reach of Maryland hospitals and was first displayed on Thursday at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center for their legislative breakfast—where state representatives and community leaders learned about all that UM BWMC is doing to improve the community. If you’d like to host the display, please reach out to Amy Goodwin, SVP, Communication & External Affairs.
As we approach a busy season for our hospitals, teams, and families, we are focused on sharing the extraordinary work you do every day. I’m proud to remind key stakeholders about all there is to celebrate and elevate at Maryland’s hospitals.
Together, we can ensure that the value and impact of your work continue to resonate both in Annapolis and in the communities you serve.
Best,
Melony G. Griffith
