What your teams have done over the past 14 months is awesome. Despite all the obstacles your strength and bravery fighting COVID-19 have been truly remarkable. 

National Hospital Week is May 9-15. MHA is pleased to partner with local talent to give your hospital workers a special thank you. We want to recognize and honor your unprecedented support for the community during the pandemic.

Representatives of the Maryland community gladly joined MHA to show thanks in a video. Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott kicks off the kudos followed by an inspirational performance compliments of the Morgan State University Choir. There is a rousing routine by the Fatal Attraction Step Squad from Coach G Academy and colorful appreciation art from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Feel free to share the video with your own teams—MHA will share it more broadly on Tuesday via social media. 
 
We’ve also coordinated with Wawa to provide free hot drinks for some of your employees during the weeklong celebration. Coupons are being mailed directly to CEOs to distribute.
 
This is a small way to show the big respect we have for doctors, nurses, therapists, technicians, dietary workers, environmental services staff, business leaders, and others. We—and all of Maryland—value and appreciate the incredible work you do every day.
